Terms of Service

Last updated 10 August 2026

These are the terms for using TravelPdfPro. They are short and written in ordinary language, because terms you cannot read are not terms you have agreed to. Creating an account or using the tool means you accept them.

The one to read

The Visa PDF Compressor compresses the files you give it — that is the whole job. It does not know what your portal requires, and it cannot tell you whether a compressed document will be accepted. Checking the output before you submit it is yours to do, and section 5 says so in full.

1. What the service is

TravelPdfPro is a suite of browser tools for travel paperwork. The tool available today is the Visa PDF Compressor, which compresses PDFs and images down to a size limit you choose, so they fit a visa portal's upload rules. The compression runs on your own device; your documents are not uploaded to us. How that works, and what we do store, is on the privacy page.

2. What it costs, and the daily limit

The service is free. There is no paid plan, no card, and no watermark on anything it produces.

Free comes with a daily file limit — 20 files a day as this is written — which resets each day.

  • The limit can change. It is a setting rather than a promise: we may raise or lower it, for everyone or for a single account, as the cost of running the service requires.
  • A higher limit is a request, not an entitlement. You can ask for one from inside the app. A person reads it and decides. Approvals are at our discretion, we are not obliged to explain a decision, and a limit that was raised can be revised again later.
  • Being free also means we can change what the service does, or stop offering it. We would rather not, and we are not promising otherwise.

3. Your account

  • Sign up with an email address you actually control — it is how you get back in if you forget your password.
  • Your login is yours. What happens under your account is your responsibility, so keep the password to yourself.
  • One account per person. Extra accounts to get around the daily limit are covered by section 4.

4. Acceptable use

Two things, and both are what they sound like.

Nothing unlawful

  • Do not use our tools on material that is unlawful to hold, send or process.
  • Do not process documents you have no right to process. If you are compressing someone else's passport or bank statement — which is exactly what this tool is for — having their permission is on you, not on us. We never see the file, so we are in no position to check.
  • Do not use it to help someone misrepresent themselves to an authority.

Nothing abusive towards the service

  • No scripting, automating, scraping or load-testing the service.
  • No working around the daily limit — extra accounts, shared accounts, or anything else in that spirit.
  • No attempting to reach other people's accounts or data, and no probing the service for weaknesses. If you find one by accident, tell us: info@travelpdfpro.com.

5. What TravelPdfPro does not promise

This is the section that can cost you something, so it is the one written most plainly.

The tool compresses files you supply, and that is all it does. It does not check that your documents are the right documents, that they are complete, that they are still legible once compressed, that they are named the way a portal wants them, or that anyone will accept them.

Verifying the output before you submit it is your responsibility. Open every compressed file, look at it, and satisfy yourself that it is readable and that it meets the requirements of the portal you are uploading to. You are the one who knows what was asked for; we do not, because we never see either the requirement or the file.

We are not liable for visa outcomes. Plainly, and without hiding behind the phrasing: a refused or delayed application, a missed deadline, a document a portal or an officer rejected, a file that uploaded but could not be read, an appointment lost, or work you had to do again. Whatever the cause, and whether or not compression had anything to do with it.

The service is provided as is. We try to keep it working and correct; we do not promise that it always will be. It may be unavailable, it may produce a file you are not satisfied with, and a browser update may break something that worked last week.

Where the law allows us to limit what we owe you, we limit it — you have paid nothing for this service, and that is the measure of it. Where the law does not allow that, nothing on this page takes away a right you have that cannot be signed away.

6. Suspending or closing an account

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is abusing the service in a way that affects other people or its running costs. Where it is a judgement call rather than something obvious, we will tell you why.

You can leave whenever you like: ask us to delete your account and we will, along with everything attached to it — see section 6 of the privacy page for exactly what that removes.

7. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version. If a change is one you would rather not accept, ask us to delete your account.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts of Sri Lanka.
